The Patchsmith's Sampler Blocks aren't just for quilts – they can be used in all sorts of projects and a mug rug is the perfect little project for trying out a new sampler block.

    They are fun to make and I love your Kokeshi doll pattern! I've never tried paper piecing, but she's so cute I may have to give it a whirl one day!

      Mug rug making is also addictive! The Kokeshi Doll is not my pattern - it is by the very talented Alyce at Blossom Heart patterns.
